In keeping with our "un-edited" internet policy, we all had some fun last night with Jackie Martling.
Jackie went the entire chat, only being stumped once or twice within a 90 minute chat. Pretty good considering the constant barrage of jokes. uncanny actually!

The popular UK show "TOP OF THE POPS 2" aired an entire show dedicated to David Bowie, featuringnew 1999 performances and interviews, as well as some classic archive footage from TOTP and The Old Grey Whistle Test (1972).
If you missed this show, it will be re-aired this coming Saturday, November 6 on BBC2 in the UK
There have been several reports and rumors about a live web broadcast 7th December 1999. Let us add some clarity to the situation.
Friday, November 19th, David Bowie will be performing an exclusive live show at New York's Kit Kat Club. This concert is a private concert being attended by fans that have won a coveted ticket from radio stations as well as sources such as VH-1 and BowieNet.
The Kit Kat Club show will be recorded, and then re-broadcasted as both a radio show and Internet cybercast. The Radio show will go out to over 100 National Radio Affiliates. Over 35 syndicated Internet partners will carry the cybercast. The list of radio stations broadcasting the show will be posted next week.
The December 7th web and radio event(s) are scheduled for 10pm (Eastern and Pacific) and are sponsored by the American Express Blue Concert Series (http://www.blueconcerts.com). The cybercast will be sent out via Quicktime 4.0 and Windows Media Player. You will be able to view this special event on BowieNet, but make sure you download one of the above players.
We hope this explains the recent rumors.

Bowie appeared on the 1000th edition of the Rockline radio show last night which was recorded last night at New York's Museum of Television and Radio. Tony Visconti was also there for the whole show as Bowie took questions from call-in listeners and a few tracks were played between the calls.Visconti and Bowie joked with each other about who had the most Bowie bootlegs; Bowie once again reiterating that he thought he had almost everything he'd ever recorded since 1966 lying around somewhere and that he planned to release some of it out in an anthology project.Natalie Merchant, who covers 'Space Oddity' on her new live album, dropped in to talk about her new album, due for release next week. Bowie said he liked Merchant's version but didn't like Oasis' cover of "Heroes".

In the November 1999 edition of Record Collector (Issue No. 243), which is published in the UK and has 400,000 readers worldwide. Art Decade, is an eight-page feature on Bowie's work from Tin Machine in '89 to the present day. There is also a two-page review feature on 'hours', which is very favourable. The Royal College of Art's annual fine art postcard event will be previewing at the Royal College.
Have a look and deliberate as to whether or not you are looking at an original artwork by Peter Blake, David Bowie, or the next Chris Ofili. The postcards are unmarked on the front, so it's an Absolut Secret as to who the Artist is!!

For UK fans, BBC2 will broadcast a 45 minute Bowie special on Wednesday November 3rd at 18.00 GMT, repeated on Saturday November 6th at around 17.00 GMT.
The show has David introducing a selection of material (recorded in Paris on Friday), including three new performances from Hours, the complete 1972 Old Grey Whistle Test session (Pretty Things, 5 Years & Queen Bitch), Starman & "Heroes" from Top of the Pops, a new promo clip for Under Pressure and some other clips including Life On Mars.
