David Bowie joined Placebo on-stage at Irving Plaza in New York City last night to perform Placebo's "Without You, I'm Nothing" and the Marc Bolan/T.Rex staple "20th Century Boy". There was a buzz in the air as rumors flew around the venue of a Bowie appearance and as the band finished their brilliant one hour set and left the stage for the first time - with the chant "Bowie, Bowie...." grew louder and louder.
